Tour Plan
Departure from the agency very early in the morning. Long day of uncomfortable travel (about 7 hours) on the track to the border. Customs crossing and overnight in Kerung.
The road that is much better in Tibet allows us to enjoy the fantastic landscapes of the Tibetan highlands. We will cross high passes near the EverestEverest: The panorama is superb on the Himalayan chain.
Road to Ronbuk. Visit of the monastery and excursion near the Everest base camp.
Long day drive to Shigatse through the vast plains and stunning views of the Himalayas and Everest. Visit to the Tashilumpo Monastery of Shigatse
Another wonderful day of travel. In Gyantse, visit the historic city of Tibet with the Stupa of Kumbun and the monastery of Phalkor.
We pass through the passes of Karola (5010m), Kambala (4800m) and the lake with turquoise waters of Yamdrok. We follow the Brahmaputra to Lhasa.
Two entire days dedicated to the visit of Lhasa: The Potala Palace, Norbulinka, the temple of Jokhang, the market of Barkhor, the monasteries of Drepung and Sera.
Transfer for the monastery of TsurphuTsurphu built in 1180 and for the hot springs of Yangpachen. Back and night in Lhasa.
Transfer to the airport. Lhasa aircraft > Kathmandu (or destination of your choice)
