About Upper Mustang 15 days
Our agency Montagnes Au Nepal offers you this superb trek in an authentic region. The trek takes place on the heights of the Himalayas, in an arid region, dotted with small villages and green oasis connected by canyons. The highlight is the fortress of Lo Mustang, seat of the ancient kingdom where the annual Tiji festival is held. A road under construction follows the same route as the trekking path at times. The work is evolving and accelerating. The guide will do his best to avoid these portions of tracks as , much as possible.
Before departure to Pokhara, 1 full day( must not be a Saturday) in Kathmandu is required to obtain special permits for Upper Mustang.

Tour Plan
Departure from the agency with your guide and transfer to Pokhara by sightseeing bus. Departure at 7:00 a.m. for approximately a 7-hour journey. A peaceful and pleasant town at the foot of the Annapurna range.

Plane (30 minute flight) to Jomsom and 2 hour walk to Kagbeni.
In case of flight cancellation due to bad weather, it is possible to reach Jomsom by road. During the monsoon season, this can be long and adventurous.

To avoid the trail section, we take a public jeep to Chussang. Then we reach a green oasis via Tetang.

We cross the suspension bridge and pass through the more peaceful path and the village of Ghyakar.

We cross the Nyi La Pass at 4080m from where the view is splendid and pass through the village of Ghami before reaching the ochre cliffs of Dhakmar.
